Francine Fishpaw (Divine) is a troubled housewife trapped in suburban Baltimore. Her philandering husband runs a sleazy movie theater, and her daughter performs lewd dances in her high school cafeteria for money. Add in a son who's a predatory foot fetishist and a suicidal family pet, and you have another entry in the bizarre catalog of director John Waters. The film originally screened in theaters with a scratch-and-sniff feature called "Odorama."
