In Palestine's West Bank city of Ramallah, free-spirited Kamar (Yasmine Elmasri) struggles in the wake of her husband's imprisonment and clashes with the strict moral code of her homeland. But then she rediscovers her passion for dance. She forges an unusual and unlikely bond with a Palestinean returnee (Ali Sliman) who shares her love of the art form in this gripping meditation on love and repression screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
