When village girl Ponnumani (Soundarya) leaves for the city to finish her studies, she's a joyful bride-to-be, but upon returning home to her fiancé, she's mentally ill and mysteriously pregnant. Lacking a cure for her troubled mind, her future husband (Karthik) sets out to uncover the truth behind her defilement by searching for the offender who put his beloved Ponnumani in this perplexing state.
