Johnny (Gregory "Mars" Martin) is a brilliant pool shark who feels his mentor, a shady hustler named Joe (Chazz Palminteri), is holding him back. When Johnny decides to break free of Joe and the gambling life, the angry Joe seeks revenge by using his new protégé, Brad (Rick Schroder), to take Johnny's brother, Danny (Michael Rosenbaum), for all he's worth in a pool game -- forcing Johnny to return to the pool hall for one last showdown.
