Power of the Press

  (1943)
Writer Samuel Fuller draws on his past experience as a newspaper editor to inform Lew Landers's classic about wartime abuses of freedom of the press and what happens when a publisher -- Howard Raskin (Otto Kruger) -- uses his paper as a political weapon. Unluckily for Raskin, there are still a few honest journalists out there, and one of them (Lee Tracy) is determined to bring him down. Gloria Dickson and Guy Kibbee also star.
