Pranali - The Tradition

Forced into the dreadful life of a sex worker as a young girl, Pranali (Nargis) decides to challenge the traditions society has used to predetermine her fate and transcend the boundaries imposed upon her by the outside world. With his debut feature, filmmaker Hridesh Kamble explores the turbulent lives of these lower caste women who are exploited in the name of an inherently misogynistic tradition.
