While enjoying a summer day at sea, a raucous boating party of New England teens runs into bad weather that forces them to veer off course. But when they run aground on the strange island of Hell's Beacon, they encounter an unexpected welcome: aliens who want to take over their bodies. Fighting alongside the island's lighthouse keeper and his frazzled wife, they do their best to save their skins -- but it just might be too late.
