This Bollywood feature churns out hit tunes (by Laxmikant Pyarelal) and revolves around the star power of Madhuri Dixit and Rishi Kapoor. Kapoor plays the well-educated Soman, who falls for the enchanting and troubled Kajari (Dixit). When Soman discovers Kajari's haunting secret, he fights for her affections and against those who made her suffer. One intense scene keeps this melodramatic love story more suitable for mature audiences.
