In this Bollywood romantic drama, recently educated Devdhar (Rishi Kapoor) returns from the city to discover that Manorama (Padmini Kolhapure), the niece of one of the village's most successful men (Shammi Kapoor), is no longer a child. There's one problem though: Devdhar comes from poverty. Will his love be enough to overcome class distinctions and tradition? Vijayendra Ghatge co-stars as Manorama's rich and handsome prospective bridegroom.
