An English governess (Sadie Frost) heads for Mallorca to meet her new charges: two orphans. Soon after her arrival, she notices them behaving oddly, unlike any children she's ever cared for before. Determined to discover the root of their strangeness, she plunges headlong toward danger and disgrace. Also stars Lauren Bacall and Harvey Keitel.
