Produced by Steven Spielberg with the help of renowned historian Stephen Ambrose, this absorbing documentary examines World War II as it begins in Pearl Harbor in 1941 and marches through Asia, finally ending with the American attack on Japan in 1945. Features interviews with Japanese and American soldiers in action during that horrifying segment of history, and also examines how Japanese-Americans were treated in the United States.
