Jimmy Smits is an ex-boxer whose career was truncated because of a crooked manager. But that's not going to happen to the three sons he's groomed for success in the ring. Like Ahab after the giant white whale, Smits is obsessed in his quest for boxing championships. But will he risk tearing apart his own family to see his sons attain fame in the squared circle?
