Prison Nurse

Marian Marsh, Henry Wilcoxon, Minerva Urecal and Bernadene Hayes co-star in this 1930s drama directed by venerable silent-screen filmmaker James Cruze. When a nurse (Marsh) joins the staff of a maximum-security prison surrounded by soggy countryside, it's all she can do to keep up with an epidemic of typhoid fever. But with the support of a co-worker (Hayes) and the love of a dedicated doctor (Wilcoxon), she may save the day after all.
