When eager recruit Lon Prentice (Dick Foran) enlists in the Army with bandleader Harry James (playing himself), they discover the place to be is in the USO, where the Andrews Sisters are headlining. With this kind of entertainment, Army life ain't so bad! This amusing World War II-era film effectively blends comedy, propaganda and the Andrews Sisters' wonderful harmonizing on musical numbers such as "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree."
