The bonds of a longtime friendship are put to the test in this affecting drama. Chums since childhood, Ashok (Madhavan) and Julie (Sridevi) remain close as adults even after he weds wealthy Nandini (Jyothika) and Julie falls for Michael (Vineeth), a cricket player trying to make the national team. Trouble is, Ashok is Michael's key rival for a spot on the squad, which drives a wedge between Julie and Ashok when Michael's father interferes.
