Undercover cop Jack Valentine (Mario Van Peebles) and his partner, Phil Kelly (Randy Quaid), are on the most dangerous assignment of their careers. The D.A. (Rae Dawn Chong) needs Jack's help; ex-mob moll Alma (Zerha Leverman) is concealing vital information; and mob boss Joe Buddha (Ben Gazzara) wants Jack dead. With only 10 days to crack the case, Jack finds himself in the crossfire of a gangland vendetta and police corruption.
