In this cult film forever rooted in Polish culture, Franz, an ex-Communist secret police agent, has recently been released from jail. Trying to establish his place in the new democratic system, he finds himself in an underworld ruled by gangsters and ends up taking part in huge weapons trade operations with Russia and Sarajevo.
