Puccini: Tosca

This 1976 staging of Giacomo Puccini's renowned opera features soprano Raina Kabaivanska as title character Floria Tosca, who offers herself to the police chief (baritone Sherrill Milnes) in exchange for the immunity of her lover (Plácido Domingo) after he's caught harboring a fugitive. Domingo's young son plays the role of shepherd boy Pastore, and maestro Bruno Bartoletti conducts the New Philharmonic Orchestra and Ambrosian Singers.
