After assassinating a military leader in Mexico, American government hit man Clayton Price (Scott Glenn) finds cover in the form of two weary travelers (Craig Wasson and Giovanna Zacarias) who agree to help him hide in the Mexican jungle. But what they don't know is that Price is being tailed by stealthy CIA operative Walter McGrane (Harvey Keitel), who has instructions to deliver his target dead or alive.
