In a time and place unmistakably similar to interwar Western Europe, Lt. Alice Malvin leads an army division nicknamed "Pumpkin Scissors." Despite mockery from superiors, the ragtag team manages to expose corruption and cover-ups. Plot twists come fast and furious as Malvin and her crew dig up a top secret government plan involving a super-soldier program. Echoes of World War II play heavily into this anime war adventure.
