Set in post-apartheid South Africa, Kenneth Kaplan's horror film adds a provocative political twist to the classic vampire tale. The last South African born with a pure Aryan bloodline, Fanus (Carl Beukes) carries a deadly trait inherited from his late father, a ruthless military man. In an attempt to regain the family's dark powers, Fanus's mother (Aletta Bezuidenhout) and brother (Danny Keogh) scheme to resurrect their bloodsucking patriarch.
