Ex-con Thomas (Vincent Ventresca) drifts into the small town of Purgatory Flats, where he meets and instantly falls for Sunny (Alexandra Holden). Despite Sunny's involvement in the drug trade, Thomas feels deeply for this "bad girl" and can't seem to kick the habit of being with her. But when Sunny persuades Thomas to help murder her husband, the ex-con must extricate himself from the messy situation -- without losing his own life.
