Alan Oliver (Frank Whaley) is an ad executive who lives life in the fast lane. Leaving his job in sunny L.A. to work for a web site in rainy Seattle doesn't seem like such a bad idea, since the perks are great. But just when Alan thinks everything is fine, his longtime girlfriend moves out, and his employer (Jean Stapleton) jettisons him from his most lucrative account. Can his best friend (Annabeth Gish) offer the needed comfort and advice?
