To repay an old debt, an artless villager braves the streets of Bombay to save a friend from execution in this 1972 drama directed by Manmohan Desai. Stunned to find his boyhood chum Prakash sentenced to hang for a murder he swears he didn't commit, Lakshman is willing to put himself at risk to track down the real culprit -- even if it means a brush with Bombay's underworld. Randhir Kapoor, Ramesh Deo, Shatrughan Sinha and Roopesh Kumar star.
