Based on actual case files from police departments across the country, this 1950s cop drama follows Capt. John Braddock (Reed Hadley) on his noble quest to protect Americans from confidence schemes. In this collection of episodes, a man impersonating a lawyer cheats divorcing couples out of their money; two crooks try to swindle a recently widowed woman; and a newlywed is fleeced by the owner of a dance studio.
