Cru Jones (Bill Allen), a rising talent on the BMX track, faces an uphill climb as he gears up for the important Helltrack race. He must contend with a shady sponsor who changes the rules at the last minute, and champion rider Bart Taylor (Bart Conner) is hoping for an easy victory. And when Cru realizes that the race falls on the same day as an important school test, he must decide whether bikes or books will determine his future.
