Following the death of her brother in a car accident, small-town teenager Terri (Hilary Duff) spends the summer in Los Angeles studying at a performing arts school. Her experience there exposes her to a whole new world and way of life. Discouraged by her father (David Keith), Terri remains determined to break free of the sheltered existence and social circles she's always known. John Corbett, Jason Ritter and Rita Wilson co-star.
