In writer-director Chris Fisher's unsettling thriller based on true events, tenacious psychiatrist Samantha Stone (Brittany Daniel) faces the intimidating task of interviewing prisoner Kenneth Bianchi (Clifton Collins Jr.), better known as the Hillside Strangler. Doing what comes naturally, Samantha dives right in -- but as she relives each of the murders through the killer's own chilling words, she can't help but identify with the victims.
