The biggest names in rap take the mike to perform two simultaneous concerts -- one in New York at the Apollo and one in L.A. at the Palace -- to celebrate the roots of hip-hop in one of the most exciting events in rap history. Old-school performers such as Afrika Bambaataa, Slick Rick, Sugarhill Gang, Run DMC and Kurtis Blow mix with their proteges, including LL Cool J, Everlast, Ice-T, Young MC, 3rd Bass and Big Daddy Kane.
