Filmmaker Tim Ritter plumbs the depths of humanity to recount a touching story of redemption. By most accounts, Franklin McDowell is a horrible man: He cheats, he uses people, and he's an alcoholic. When his long-suffering wife finally calls it quits, McDowell decides to seek revenge of the worst kind by murdering her. But a chance meeting with a minister armed with his own agenda shows him there may be other ways to seek justice and find peace.
