Photographer Alex (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) discards his girlfriend, Simone (Maria Bonnevie), in order to have a one-night stand with Aimee (also Bonnevie), a woman he meets on the subway. Aimee is married to a famous author, but she can't stop thinking about her younger lover. Meanwhile, Alex's life has been turned upside down; not only does his apartment no longer exist, but Simone and all his friends look at him as nothing more than a stranger.
