Actor Michael Dorn narrates this documentary that recounts the heroics of the Tuskegee Airmen -- the first black fighter pilots of World War II -- and the efforts of activists determined to ensure that these American icons receive proper recognition. Despite the fact that they amassed one of the most impressive combat records in United States history, the accomplishments of the Tuskegee Airman are largely overlooked in the annals of the war.
