An idealistic English teacher (Matthew Modine) helps a convicted ex-Black Panther (Obba Babatunde) prove his innocence after he's wrongly imprisoned for a murder he claims he didn't commit. But is he telling the truth? Two actors at the peak of their form make Redeemer a poignant story of freedom, courage and forgiveness.
