Director Raoul Walsh's gripping saga about Irish-American life and George Melford's social commentary on love and class struggle, both released in 1915, combine for a potent double feature. In Regeneration, Rockliffe Fellowes plays Owen Conway, a poverty-stricken boy who eventually owns the streets of New York as a gangster. In Young Romance, department store clerk Nellie Nolan (Edith Taliaferro) aims to marry for money but finds love instead.
