Soon after moving from his small village to live in the city with his uncle (Vadivelu), Sakthi (Madhavan) meets the beautiful Velli (Reema Sen) -- and gets pegged by an eyewitness as a murderer. But is it a case of mistaken identity, or is Sakthi a different man than he seems to be? The pieces of the puzzle start making sense with the introduction of Kannan (Madhavan again, in a dual role), a man who could be the real killer.
