Two Americans find love in an unlikely place: Beijing, China. Leah Quinn starts a new job at an English-language newspaper and falls for tacky TV host Sun Zhan. Richard Kao is a young Chinese-American who has traveled to China to scatter the ashes of his late grandfather. As he meets the family he's never known, Kao discovers his heritage and the newfound love of Lin Qing.
