Return to Peyton Place

Director Jose Ferrer returns to the drama-filled Massachusetts enclave of Peyton Place and picks up where the long-running television series left off. Famous resident Alison MacKenzie (Carol Lynley) has written a tell-all book about the seamy underbelly of village life, and everyone is up in arms about it. Roberta Carter (Mary Astor) is campaigning to get the book off the shelves of the library, but that's just the beginning of Alison's troubles.
