Pat Quid (Stacy Keach) is a truck driver who delivers pork to Perth, Australia. After hearing about a killing spree and learning the murderer is still on the loose, he starts to believe the fiend may be the mysterious driver of a green van he passed along the way. And when the maniac kidnaps Pamela (Jamie Lee Curtis), the pretty hitchhiker Pat picked up and dropped off, Pat becomes determined to stop the madman -- on his own.
