During a cross-country journey, struggling truck drivers Gil (Robert Drivas) and Hank (Barry Bostwick) agree to give prostitute Janice (Regina Baff) a ride in exchange for sex. When the pair later rejects her, an angry Janice lashes out at them with painful stories about her troubled life. Directed by Joseph Strick, this bleak and depressing highway drama has gradually developed into a cult favorite.
