Chosen by mystical Herne the Hunter, Robin of Loxley (Michael Praed) champions Herne's cause as the "the Hooded Man" and forges a band of outlaws and renegades to defy the Norman rulers who are oppressing the people in this 1980s British series. Notable for its blend of history and pagan myth,the series is a gritty take on the Robin Hood legend, featuring authentic period production design and an award-winning soundtrack by Irish band Clannad.
