Filmmaker and architect Patrick Keiller's innovative video travelogue offers a unique armchair tour of England. Actor Paul Scofield lends his voice as the program's invisible and often droll narrator, who explores England's nooks and crannies with his partner Robinson. Keiller's film reveals England from all sides as the camera crew wanders from historic landmarks to jolly old factories, suburban malls, phone booths and even landfills.
