An eclectic group of tenants (including Mark McKinney, Margot Kidder, Fred Ewanuick and Gabrielle Miller) forms a quirky community in Vancouver's West End inside the low-rise Robson Arms apartment building. Providing a sense of relative normalcy are the building's lecherous superintendent (John Cassini) and the Tans (Colin Foo, Justine Wong, Helena Yea and Jim Tai), a Chinese family that runs the small grocery store in the building.
