Against all odds, including self-obsessed opportunistic friends and parents who gamble compulsively and dole out unwanted career advice, singer Phaedra Hill (Camille Solari) is determined to make it as a rock star in the City of Angels. Setting her sights on fame, Phaedra teams up with her best friend-cum-manager to devise an improbable scam that they hope will turn her into an overnight sensation -- with comical results.
