As if dealing with a horde of colossal, killer caterpillars weren't bad enough, the citizens of a Japanese mining town have their hands full when a pair of giant pterodactyls with an appetite for destruction -- and eyes for each other -- shows up. Kenji Sahara, Yumi Shirakawa, Akio Kobori and Akihiko Hirata head the cast in director Ishirô Honda's 1956 sci-fi classic featuring inspired special effects.
