Soccer mania provides a comic kick to Shakespeare's great tragedy in this tale of star-crossed lovers whose families are die-hard fans of two rival soccer teams. When Julieta (Luana Piovani), an aspiring player whose father lives for the Palmeiras team, meets eye doctor Romeu (Marco Ricca), it's love at first sight. But Romeu has been lying to Juliet about his allegiance: He's really a fan of the rival Corinthians squad!
