In this realistic family sitcom's third season, Becky (Lecy Goranson) gets in trouble for flipping the bird at school; tomboy Darlene (Sara Gilbert) bristles at the thought of wearing a dress; and Dan's visiting dad (Ned Beatty) announces his plans to wed Crystal (Natalie West). Needless to say, Roseanne continues to thumb her nose at the stereotype of clean-cut suburban moms. Guest stars include Dann Florek and Tobey Maguire.
