After escaping the government's witness protection program, a mob informer named Smith is hiding out in the Arizona desert. As a pair of federal agents (Lou Diamond Phillips and Lori Petty) try to locate Smith and return him to safety, they must also make their way along the dangerous -- and devilish -- abandoned stretch of highway known as Route 666. All the while, they're battling menacing Mafia hitmen and gruesome zombies.
