Barrister and playwright John Mortimer's most celebrated creation, Horace Rumpole (Leo McKern), returns for a third season of the popular series. This time around, Rumpole flies to Naranga in Africa to defend a former student (Olu Jacobs) accused of murder. This season also marks the debut of law pupil Fiona Allways (Rosalyn Landor). Future Oscar nominee Brenda Blethyn appears in "Rumpole and the Genuine Article."
