Upon moving in with his sister and brother-in-law, Siva (Madhavan) begins his studies and falls hard for a girl named Priya (Meera Jasmine), who wants nothing to do with him. Further complicating Siva's plight is Priya's protective brother, who doesn't hesitate using violence. Persuading the brother to back off will be difficult, but Siva is willing to do whatever it takes to win Priya's affections.
