After finding her fiancé in bed with someone else, Jennifer Waylon (Kristin Cary) reacts in anger and kills the two-timing cad. In the murder's aftermath, she drastically alters her appearance and lives a low-key life to avoid arrest. But just when she meets a charming painter (Adrian Zmed) and things appear to be turning around for Jennifer, she begins to realize that she can't shake off the past.
